St. George’s School Athletic Sports; Several Close Finishes
Large fields and close finishes were features of the St. George's School athletic sports held on Saturday. The school's senior championship was won' by Beard who collivted 18 points, winning ail three championship flat races. Next in line was Toganivalu with 11 points, then R. Redmayne with nine points. Winner of the junior championship was White with 13 points, and the runner-up, J. Kebbell with eight points. The day’s only record was set by Vernon, who cleared 4ft. 9in. in the senior high jump.
