£95 Raised At Plunket Shop Day By St. John’s Hill Branch
On Friday the St. John’s Hill branch of the Plunket Society held a bring and buy sale, Mrs. H. D. Robertson opened the sale and wished the committee every success in their, efforts. The sum of 195 was the result of the sale, for which achievement the president. Mrs. Tasker thanked those responsible. In charge of the stalls were sewing, Mesdames Simpson, Casford,, Thompson. Battell, Martin. Sherriff, Tasker and Short; used clothes, Mrs. Page; cakes and sweets, Mesdames Sampson and Haworth, Wilson and Storey; produce, Mesdames Dickson, Everett and Dudley.
