Liverpool Wool Sales Opened; Report From London
The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office by cable under date October 28: “The Liverpool sales have opened with strong competition and largo attendance of buyers, Home trade and Continent. Greasy crossbreds, prices are about par to 5 per cent, dearer. Scoureds, very firm. Stipes 5 per cent, dearer.”
