CHINESE AWARDS TO NEW ZEALANDERS
WELLINGTON, Oct. 27. (P.A.).The Chinese Consul General, Mr. Wang Feng announces that the president of the National Government of the Republic of China, has conferred upon the Hon. W. E. Barnard, of Tauranga, and Mr. Frederick W. Furkett, of Wellington the decoration of the Odor of the Brilliant Star. The awards are made in recognition of of their services in connection with China war relief work.
