Retrial Of William Stuck Continued Before Chief Justice
CHRISTCHURCH. Last Night (P.Xi The retrial of William Albertus Ivan Stuck, a butcher, aged 40, on a charge of murdering Bertha Bessie Amy Day, at Paparua on Mav 14. was continued in the Supreme Court today before the Chief Justice, Sir Humphrey O’Leary. Fifteen witnesses gave evidence today, and it is expected that the hearing of evidence' will conclude tomorrow. Counsel will address the jury on Friday.
