Pakistan And India Unable To Agree Over Kashmir Plebiscite
LONDON, Oct. 25.—The Pakistan Premier, Liaquat Ali Khan, said at a Press conference today that India and Pakistan could not agree over the form of a plebiscite on Kashmir. “I want a fair, impartial plebiscite, by which 1 am willing to abide," he said. "Mr. Nehru wants a plebiscite under Indian bayonets and under an administration of his own liking. I shall never be a party |o handing over 3,200,000 Moslems to India by means of coercion.”
