Trotting President Presents Trophies
One of the features of the day’s programme at the Wanganui trots on Saturday was the double won by the Pa merston North owned and trained Sirius, the Josedale Dictator mare springing a big surprise in the opening event and later carrying off rhe honours in the President’s Handicap. In the latter event she credited her owners, Messrs D. W. and P. R Hansen, wph ownership of a canteen of cutlery valued at £4O donated by A. J. Cori '.an. There was also a canteen of cutlery for the ownertrainer of Elmdale, winner of the Wanganui Handicap, and these were presented after the events by the president, Dr. G. J. Adams.
