Mr. W. B. Tennant Is Re-Elected Chairman Of Wanganui Education Bd.

Mr. W. B. Tennant. (Palmerston North) was re-elected chairman for the next two years at yesterday's meeting of the Wanganui Education Board. In nominating Mr. Tennaont, Mr. N. Bromiley said that he had been set a high standard to follow by the late Mr. E. F. Hemingway but in the past 18 months Mr. Tennant had filled the position very ably. “I think every member of the board will bo pleased to sit under the chairmansliin of Mr. Tennant for another term,” said Mr. W. H. Brown. Mr. Tennant was a man of outstanding leadership, said Mr. I. W. Mudford. He had carried op the high ideals of the work of Hie Wanganui Education Board. Mr. N. Bromiley was re-elected deputy-chairman and tribute to ids work in that capacity in the past was paid by the chairman and members.
