I Shortage Of Cement. I Concern at the shortage of cement i required by producers was expressed at the meeting in Marton yesterday ot the Wellington Central Provincial Executive of Federated Farmers, which carried a resolution asking that, an allocation of cement be made available to farmers during the months of April, May, and June each year. It was stated that farmers were experiencing much difficulty in obtaining Cement, in spite of New Zealand producing large quantities at Portland (Auckland) and Golden Bay. A memfipr of the executive: "It is al! ' going into repairing the break in the | South Spit at Wanganui.”
