Handicaps Issued For Big Victoria Cups

Recd. 6 p.m. Sydney, July 19. Columnist has been given top weight of 9.10 for the Caulfield Cup and second top weight, also 9.10, for the Melbourne Cup. The English horse Ford Transport, who finished second in the 1946 Cesarewitch in England, has been given top weight for the Melbourne Cup. Thimble is considered badiy handicapped as his form in Sydney nas been poor. He has 8.0 in the Caulfield Cup and 8.2 i n the Melbourne Cup. Top-weights and New Zealanders are as follow:
