His usual bulldog persistence resulted in his worrying the lightweighf but of the major honours, in spite of the fact that he was conceding Earldale 311 b. Howe has won some good races and he has not been spared, but there should still be more good prizes ahead of him. in spite ot the fact that he has reached a mark in the handicaps from which even a good horse fines it difficult to win. There are tew more honest than Howe.
