RAKAUTAUA DRAINAGE DISTRICT PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Rangitikei County Council, at its meeting to be held in the County Council Chambers, Marton, on the sth day of August, 1948, at 10 a.m., to make and levy under the provisions of The Rating Act, 1925, and Sections 167 and 173 of The Counties Act, 1920, Drainage Rates on the rateable value (on tne basis of the Capital Value) of the lands within the Rakautaua Drinage District of the Rangitikei County, as follows:—• On all lands in Class A: A Rate of Nine-fourteenths of a penny (9/14d> in the pound. On all lands in Class B: A Rate of Nine twenty-eighths of a penny (9/28d) in the pound. Such Rates to be for the year ending March 31, 1949, and to be payable in one sum at the Office of the Rangitikei County Council at Marton on the 3rd day of September, 1948. PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Rangitikei County Council, at its meeting to be held in the Rangitikei County Council Chambers, Marton, on the sth day of August, 1948, at 10 a.m., to make and levy the following rates:— 1. A uniform General Rate under the provisions of “The Rating Act, 1925,” Section 120 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” and Section 2 of “The Counties Amendment. Act, 1931," of Two-pence (2d) in the Pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all Rateable Property in the County of Rangitikei. 2. A Hospital Rate under the provisions of “The Rating Act, 1925.” and Section 52 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926." of One half of a penny (Id) in the Pound (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all rateable property within the County of Rangitikei. 3. Uniform Catchment Board Rales under the provisions of Section 95 of “The Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act. 19-11,” and “The Rating Act, 1925,” as follows: (a) One sixteenth of a penny (l/16d) in the Pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of ail the rateable property in the County of Rangitikei within the Rangitikei Catchment District. (b) One twelfth of a penny (l/12d.) in the Pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of al! the rateable propertv in the County of Rangitikei within the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District. .
