Rehandicaps for the first day of the Wellington Racing Club’s winter meeting, to be held on Saturday, are as follow, the original imposts being given in parentheses:— Woburn Hack Handicap: Lochrea 8.8 (8.2). Vittoria Hurdles: Fort Silver 9.10 (9.3). Stewards’ Handicap: Cot-Case 9.7 (9.2). Trentham Hurdles: United Nations 10.9 (10.4). Whyte Handicap: Ballinagh 8.5 (7.11). Te Aro Hack Handicap: Lochwinnoch 9.5 ((9.0); Shenandoah 8.11 (8.6). Master Meruit, who has 10.12 in the Wellington Steeplechase, was not rehandicapped for winning the Hawke’s Bay Steeplechase.
