St. John’s Bowling Club Holds Its Annual Meeting
The annual general meeting o£ St. John’s Bowling Club was held in the Glasgow Street Hall on Saturday. After formal business had been transacted the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—lmmediate past president, Mr. C. P. Bates; president, Mr. R. V. Brown; vice-president, Mr. A. McPhail; hon. secretary and treasurer. Mr. N. Wallace; committee, Messrs C. Weenink, G. Easton, w. Feeney, J. Congreve, C. Gibbard. J. Brass, D. Taylor, E. Edwards, I. Fleming; delegates to centre, Messrs R. V. Brown, C. H. Clinkard and A. Pepper; match committee, Messrs H. Harris, G. Easton. J. Brass and P. Ginn; coaches, Messrs G. Easton. J Brass and F. Wiggins; auditor, Mr. T. Ballingall; green superintendent, Mr. C. P. Bates. Although a new greenkeepers’ award came into force on June 1, it was decided that no increase in subscriptions would be made.
