Auctioneer's Note.—The above is undoubtedly one of the best herds tor both dairy type and conformation that we have had the pleasure to offer so far this season. They are all young cows carrying their 2nd to 4th calves and due to start calving at the end of July.'the majority being due in August with a few in Sept. The vendors have always culled heavily and no expense has been spared in the selection of herd sires- Bulls from tile wellknown studs of Messr M. J. Pa,-ker R. R. Pearson, M. E. Knutson, Major R. A. Wilson and W. A. Kyle have been used extensively and their progeny are well represented in the herd. This season’s factory returns were 270 lbs- fat. which is far below what the herd could do on good country and under better climatic conditions than those ruling this season.
