THE RUGBY BOUNDARY DISPUTE AGAIN RAISED.

The suspension imposed last week on H. and V. Thompson, two Oroua sub-union players who have been playing in the raihape suu-uruon s.us lilted by the Manawatu .Rugby Union at its last meeting, conditional upon their playing within their boundaries. The two players concerned ano two representatives ol the Oroua subunion. Messrs. F. O. Heise and S. G. Fitzpatrick, attended the meetingThe Thompson brothers stated that at least 30 Oroua players, played outside their boundaries. They themselves had decided to play in Taihape until the dispute over the boundaries had been decided. When they were shown the New Zealand Rugby Union ruling on boundaries which placed Kiwitea county in Manawatu. the Thompson brothers agreed to abide by the ruling. Alter the lifting of the suspension, the Manawatu Union decided to recommend Oroua sub-union to investigate closely its boundaries and the question of dispensation to players who play in other sub-unions.
