Up-River Basketball
Tauokira, leading team in the upriver basketball competition, and the runners-up, Pamoana will play for the T. P. Carroll Cup at Koriniti on Saturday. Tauakira are three points ahead of Pamoana, so an interesting contest should result.
The following players will represent Pamoana: Forwards, L. Church (captain), R. Ponga, N. Metekingi; centres, K. Brookes, S. Tuka, M. Ponga; defence, P. Tehore, M. Ponga, P. Taputoro; reserves, J. Ihita. Players not available are asked to ring 4T, Koriniti.
Tauakura will be guests at a dinner social and dance after the match.
