ELECTRICITY DEMAND BELOW ALLOCATION IN DOMINION LAST WEEK

Electricity used last week in both the North and South Islands was below the allocations fixed by the State Hydro-Electric Department. i Consumption in the North Island amounted to 32,261,000 units, which was 505.000 units, or 1.55 per cent, below the allocation of 32,766,000 units.
