AORANGI TO ENTER THE CANADIAN-AUSTRALASIAN MAIL SERVICE SOON
(P.A.) Wellington, June 8. The Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand has announced that the Aorangi will recommence the Cana-dian-Australasian line regular passenger and freight service between Sydney, Auckland, Suva, Honolulu and Vancouver, leaving Sydney on August 19 and Auckland on August 24 on the initial trip with two monthly sailings thereafter. The Aorangi made a valuable contribution to the war effort in many parts of the world under the direction of the British Ministry of War Transport, and since her release from war service two months ago has been undergoing reconversion in Sydney to carry passengers in three classes.
