Governor-General To Make Tour Of Pacific Islands
(P.A.) Auckland, June 7 A New Zealand cruiser and an Australian destroyer will be in harbour together at Suva at the end of the month. The ships will be the H.M.N.Z.S. Bellona, which will reach Suva on June 28, at the beginning of a Pacific cruise, and H.M.A.S. Arumta, a Tribal class of destroyer which is to return to Suva on June 29 after transporting the Governor of Fiji (Sir Brian Freeston) on a visit to Tonga. The Bellona will be joined at Suva by the Governor-General of New Zealand and Lady Freyberg, and with Their Excellencies on board, she will begin a cruise of New Zealand Pacific dependencies on July 2. It was oflicially stated in Suva last week that Sir Bernard and Lady Freyberg would arrive in Suva by flyingboat on 29, end until their departure in the Bellona they would be the guests of Sir Brian and Lady Freeston.
