The sole selector (Mr. J. Proudfoot) has chosen the following Wanganui Association football representative team to play against Manawatu on King’s Day at Palmerston North:— R. Stewart (Athletic), K. Patterson (Tech. Old Boys), N. Hicks (Tech. Oid Boys), N. Crabbe (Tech. Old Boys), A. Kendrick (Eastbrooke), S. Nimmo (Athletic), H. Smith (Tech. Old Boys), J. Mutimer (Athletic), G. Wellwood (Athletic), A. Kidd (Athletic), N. Smith (Tech. Old Boys).
Reserves: R. Williams (Tech. Old Boys), J. Nimmo (Tech. Old Boys). J. Kidd (Tech. Old Boys) and J. Scott (Tech. Old Boys) were not available. Travelling arrangements will be published later. . The game is a friendly fixture, and as a result neither the Brown Shield nor the Lawrence Cup will be at stake.
