Communist Replies To Mr. Semple
(P.A.) Wellington, May 26. "How can Mr. Semple give a reply to a speech of nearly one hour, of which he read a very short and disjointed account in the newspapers," asked Mr. Claude Jones, of land, today in a brief comment on the statement by the Minister of Works, which referred to remarks made by Mr. Jones at a Communist meeting last Sunday night. Mr. Jones, who detailed the policy decided upon at the national conference (which has already appeared in the Press and said that this was the main question discussed at the conference, and by himself at the public meeting.
