The Wanganui Returned Services Association, at a meeting on Monday night, decided to form a drama club to be known as the “R.S.A. Little Theatre.” The meeting was well attended and was presided over by Mr. H. R Gilberd, president of the R.S.A. The following officers were elected: Chairman, Mr. Roland Young; vicechairman, Mr. J. Programmes could then be provided for worthy objects or for any sub-branch of the R.S.A. if required. It was agreed to put or only one show at the Opera House a services show for Anzac Day. By then the performers would have experience and would be sorted out.

Mr. Pawson suggested that with the talent offering, a men’s quartette or choir should be organised. Mr. Trussell offered to write parts and scores for the choir in conjunction with Mr. Stanley Brown and Mr. G. P. Williamson,

Miss F. H.’ Shaw was appointed wardrobe mistress.

The chairman said that he and Mr. G. Langslow both had suitable plays ready and suggested that work should commence at once.
