Stymie Wins Another Good Stake In U.S.
(N.Z.P.A. —Reuter—Copyright) New York, May 22. Stymie, the champion money winner, won the Metropolitan Handicap at Belmont Park today for the second successive year. The purse today was 21,200 dollars and increased his winning total to 844,760 dollars. It was his first win for 1948. He carried top weight of 9.0 and ran the mile in 1.36 4-5.
