May 7 Information which may save the Russians years of work in the development of atomic nower for industrial and military purposes has been published in an American magazine, says the “Daily Express.” It gives facts, figures and formulas about plutonium—the explosive used in the latest, atom bombs Leading British atomic scientist last night expressed surprise that such information should nave been published. One said the details given were graded as a vital part in the secret ’’know-how” of atom bomb production.
The British Ministry of Supply told the “Daily Express” that the information was released oy between the British. American and Canadian security chiefs.
