Mangakino Workers’ Secretary Beaten In A Union Ballot
(P.A.) Wellington, May 3 Mr. W. L. Wallace, president of the New Zealand Workers' Union for the last two years, has been re-elected, by 3363 votes to 1387, in a contest with Mr. *jl. V. Clapham. Communist secretary of the Mangakino branch of the union. Mr. W. Harnett, Gisborne, has been re-elected vice-president.
