Rush On Petrol In Wellington Closes Stations Down
(P.A.) Wellington, Jan. 28. A demand for petrol similar to that of the Christmas and New Year rush, caused principally by an influx of country visitors,/ paused many service stations in the city and suburbs either to close down entirely to-day or give only a limited service to commercial users. Some stations were not open at all. At others, attendants went along long queues explaining that supplies had ended.
