Rio de Janeiro, Jan. 23. Nine Norwegians branded by their country as “Quislings” were back in captivity today after an attempted escape from a military prison in a small craft from the Port of Recife. The destroyer Raependi picked them up at sea after they had been sighted by an aircraft. The men have been held since August awaiting Brazil’s decision on a Norwegian request for their extradition.
