The Forbury Park Trotting Club's summer meeting opened in threatening weather on Saturday but improved later with bright sunshine, though a strong* wind made conditions unpleasant. The attendance was exceptionally large and the totalisator handled £91,582 10s, compared with £71,610 on the corresponding day last year, an increase of £19,972 10s.
