JOCKEY SUSPENDED AT TRENTHAM

At Trentham on Saturday an inquiry was held by the judicial committee of the Wellington Racing Club into alleged interference bv Lady Vite toward the finish of the Wallaceville Highweight. The committee found that W. E. Carter, rider of Lady Vite, was guilty of careless riding and suspended him for a period of two months. They also held J. Nicoison, rider of Bobby Dazzler, guilty of giving unsatisfactory evidence and fined him £lO. In the Hopeful Stakes Brenlock (C. H. Mackie) got on the heels of another horse after going about three furlongs and came down. It was stated bv the judicial committee that no blame was attachable to any other rider in the race.
