BOWLING CLUB EXPRESSES SYMPATHY.
At the adjournment for afternoon tea on the Wanganui Bowling Club's greens on Saturday, the president (Mr. O. Hales) referred to the lose that Mr. Edgar Card, a member of the club, had suffered by the passing of his mother.
As a token of respect to the memory of Mrs. Card, in sympathy with the relatives, the members present stood in silence for a few moments.
