FINAL OF WANGANUI WOMEN’S BOWLS WON BY NEW PLYMOUTH

Play of a high standard was seen in the final of the Wanganui Women’s Bowling Centre tournament played on the Wanganui Club greens on Saturday morning, when a New Plymouth team skipped by Mrs Thomas, of New Plymouth, beat a Wanganui team skipped by Mrs Dennison by 20 points to-18. The previous day the teams had drawn. Under the rules of bowling the whole 21 heads have to be replayed, and Saturday’s game was the replay.
