Dangerous Corner The rough condition of the approaches to the overhead bridge over the railway line at the end of Ridgway Street was nearly responsible for an accident on a recent evening. A car travelling toward the city was negotiating the corner at too great a speed when it struck the bump. To avoid overturning the driver had to straighten up and run his vehicle along the rough grass on his wrong side of the road. There is a bad bump on the corner and the bend is a trap for visiting motorists
