(N.Z.P.A.—Copyright.) Recd. 10.55 p.m. Canberra, Dec. 29. India lost a chance of forcing an outright win against southern New South Wales to-day after taking the first six wickets for 69 runs. Amarath unaccountably replaced the leg-spinners Nayudu and Sarwate, who bowled for only 24 of 61 overs, but took six wickets. In the follow on yearly country wickets fell cheaply,'but the match was drawn. India closed at nine for J 64. Southern New South Wales made 226 and were four down for 141.
