MAY NOT BE AS BAD AS ANTICIPATED. Wellington. Dec. 23. An impression had been created that there was going to be more severe power cuts next year, but unless an extraordinary drought complicates' the Hydro Department's plans, the winter of 1948 will be more comfortable than last winter and the winter before it, stated the Electricity controller, Mr.' F. T. M. Kissel, to-day. He added that there would be more units for the year and they would he better spread.
