Hongkong Dec. 20 The gang which pirated the 5000ton Dutch van Heutsz north of Hongkong on Sunday, spent over 100,000 Hongkong dollars (£B5OO N.Z.) in intelligence work during the planning period of several months, according to statements by deck passengers to the Chinese Press. They learned this from the remark by one pirate that the results - about £lBO,OOO N.Z. worth of booty—were “not so good.” The same sources revealed that six pirates boarded the sMp at Hongkong disguised as vendors.
