WOMAN CYCLIST INJURED
ACCIDENT IN AVEM E Injuries to her face and to an elbow were received by Mrs. L. McCarthy, a midale-aged woman, who resides at 126 Bell Street, at 3.15 p.m. yesterday when her bicycle and a motor-car were involved in an accident at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Guyton Street.
Mrs. McCarthy was taken to the Wanganui Publh? Hospital by ambulance, and. after receiving treatment al the outpatients’ department, was able to return to her home. The motorist, whose name is not known to the police, is understood to have stopped after the accident but left when the ambulance arrived. The number of his ear, which i« not a Wanganui registration, is known. Last night he had not reported the accident to the police in Wanganui.
