Princess Chooses Bridal March. Princess Elizabeth has chosen the unfamiliar bridal march of the late Sir Hubert Parry for her wedding, says the “Daily Telegraph." It will replace the traditional bridal music from Wagner’s “Lohengrip.” and is likely to set a new fashion. The Parry march is from the composer’s incidental music to “The Birds,” of Aristophanes, composed between 1878 and 1882, and first performed in 1883. The incidental music was later arranged for the organ by Sir Walter Alcock, who realised itfe possibilities as a ceremonial work. The rest of the music for the ceremony will be mainly by British composers, all chosen by the Princess. The traditional Mendelssohn wedding march will be used for the procession at the close, and this will be followed by William Walton’s march, “Crown Imperial,” which was used at Their Majesties’ coronation.
