BEER BOYCOTT ON WEST COAST EXTENDS
(P.A.) Greymputlu Oct. 5 The boycott of hotels at which the price of beer was raised to 7d last Wednesday, is extending in the Grey and ne’.'ibouring districts. Miners' unions endorsing the boycott include Burke’s Creek, Reefton, Waiuta, Ikamatua, Dobson, Wallsend, Runanga and Blackball. Other unionists participating include watersides, dredge and timber workers, and railwaymen. The hotels, with only a few exceptions, are charging the price increase.
