DUE HOME SATURDAY
WANGANUI CHAMPION GIRLS’ MARCHING TEAM Leaving Sydney by flying-boat today. and travelling from Auckland by special bus on Saturday, the Fusiliers (Wanganui) Girls’ Marching Team, winners of the international marching championship in Australia last week, will arrive in Wanganui about 7 o clock that night. They will be met by the Wanganui Garrison Band at Foster s Hotel coiner and will march up the Avenue to the Veterans' Steps to a reception ann welcome by the Mayor (Hon. W. JRogers, M.L.C.) Sixty-four teams contested the Australian championship. The winning team was from Grace Bros., Sydney which firm has 40 teams o. marching girls Grace Bros, team then met Wanganui in the final and Wanganui won.
