MAN’S DEATH FOLLOWS FALL FROM PINE TREE

(P.A.) Auckland, July 23 In lured when he fell from a pine tree on his property al. Waiwera, a farmer died, shortly afterwards. He was Lawrence Noakes, aged 62. a married man with seven children, of Upper Waiwera. Noakes had climbed the tree to gather pine cones. Members ot his family heard and crash, and found him in slitting position on the ground at the fo-t of the tree. He was assisted into the house, but collapsed and died before the arrival of an ambulance, which had been summoned from Auckland.
