TECHNICAL COLLEGE SOCCER AND BASKETBALL
TEAMS PLAY IN WELLINGTON While Rugby and hockey teams from the Wellington Technical College wer e playing their matches with the Wanganui Technical College in Wanganui on Friday, the first soccer and basketball teams of the latter school travelled to Wellington. The first soccer eleven of the Wanganui Technical College won 2-1 and the girls' basketball team drew, 14 goals each. Thus a summary of th e fixtures played between the two college's shows that Wangnui won the Rugby, soccer, and boys’ hockey, the basketball was drawn, and Wellington won the girls’ hockey.
