INTER-CLUB GOLF MATCH

In the. inter-club match on Saturday between Wanganui and Castlecliff Golf Clubs, Wanganui had wins with the senior team at Castleclilf and also the junior team at Belmont. In the singles, Wanganui won 18 and Castlecliff 12 with 5 games halved, and in the four-balls, Wanganui lu and Castlecliff 7. The following are the results:— Singles at Castlecliff.—A. R. OPEN DAY AT BELMONT A very successful open day was held at Belmont on Sunday, over 90 competitors taking part in the various events. A strong north-westerly wind made conditions rather difficult and in the circumstances there was some very good scoring.
