New York, May 3. In a thrilling photo-finish Jet Pilot won the Kentucky Derby at Louisville from Phalanx, with Faultless third. The crowd of 120,000 was the greatest to attend a sports event in the United States, and the 1,-53.042 dollars bet on the race through the totalisator set a new high record.
