Wanganui, has received the following cabled advice from their London office on a wool sale conducted in London on May 1, 1947: "There was a buoyant -.one at the close of the market and to-day's offering of 33,700 bale-s all sold with keen competition. “The current quotations for wool of average condition are as follow: Merinos, suner, 60/645. 33d to 371 d: halfbreds, 56 'sBs. 25d to 284: 565. 23d to 27d: 50/565. 22d to 264; crossbreds, 50s. 19d to 21 d; 48/50s. 19d to 20Jd; 46MSs, 174 d to 18-id; 44/465, 17ld to 18Jd.
