WANGINUI HARRIERS
CASTLECLIFF BEACH RUN. The brilliant sunshine was ideal for a run up the Castlecliff beach on Saturday, when a pack race was conducted by the Wanganui Harrier Club, with about 45 members taking part. The course led up the beach to the cliffs, across country to the vicinity of the golf links, and down Polson Street to the Fire Station From there a run-in was held, the winners of each pack being: A. D, Moriarty, 1: C. Weller, 2; I. Burgess, 3; B. D. Weller, 1; J. Galvin, 2; B. Farrell, 3; C. H Clark, 1; H. Walker, 2; N. Hooper, 3. Next Saturday's run will be held from the Union Boat Shed. Brown, T. A. Budd, S. R. Pittaway and J. R. Stuck. A. G. Sutherland was not available.
