IMPORT LICENSING
Recent decisions relating to imports include the following:— The allocations in respect of almonds and nuts, except peanuts and walnuts have been increased from 100 to 150 per cent, of th G amounts of 1946 licenses.
Licenses for imports of sparkling wine s from foreign countries may be granted to the extent of 50 per cent, of the value of the applicant’s imports of similar goods from the same source in 1938.
The yardage shown on licenses issued in respect of wollen and worsted piece goods from Australia represents lineal measurement.
