Collier Dischargiug. With 850 tons ol coal, all £or local discharge, the Anchor Company's coastal steamer, Rata, arrived at Castlecliff early yesterday morning from Greymouth. She began unloading at 1 p.m. and is expected to complete to-day, alter which she sails for Tarakohe. Much ot the Rata’s coal is for the Municipal Gas works and some will also go to the Railways Department. It is the vessel’s first visit to Wanganui since before Christmas. She has since undergone annual overhaul and survey. Success at the Butts.

Credited with the distinction o£ having scored one point short of the possible at each of the 600 yard ranges, Mrs. W.
