“Early Birds”
One way of getting a good view and a comfortable seat for functions at Cook’s Gardens was fully exploited by wise patrons of the drum-majors' display yesterday at the national pipe band championships. These people drove their cars to the grounds during the morning and parked them in the front row. They then did not « have to worry about rushing to get " a good position, but could walk down leisurely in the afternoon and take possession of their “reserved seats.”
