FIRST DAY OF TROTS (P.A.) Auckland, March 9. The Auckland Trotting Club's autumn meeting wau held yesterday in line weather. There was a good attendance- The track was hard and fast. The totalisator handled £112,263 against £133,026 last year, a decrease of £20,763. J. McLennan, driver of Sprayman in the Fergusson Handicap, was fined £lO for crossing too closely in front of Jewel’s Eyre, and F. J. Smith £5 fol’ improper conduct to an official.
